A Wetting and Capture Strategy Overcoming Electrostatic Repulsion for Electroreduction of Nitrate to Ammonia from Low‐Concentration Sewage (Small 33/2024)
Ammonia Production In article number 2400505, Jianwei Fan and co-workers reported hydrophilic Cu@CuCoO2 nano-islands dispersed on support, enriching nitrate anions and producing a smart sensing response, so that ammonia could be electrosynthesized using atomic hydrogen even in dilute nitrate streams. This electrocatalytic system overcomes electrostatic repulsion and provides a platform to guarantee the self-sufficiency of dispersed ammonia production in agricultural regions.
