Determination and Engineering of Li‐Ion Tortuosity in Electrode Toward High Performance of Li‐Ion Batteries (Adv. Energy Mater. 31/2024)
Lithium-Ion Batteries The pursuit of high energy and power densities in lithium-ion batteries is limited by their trade-off. Tortuosity, representing ionic diffusion in electrolyte and porous electrodes, is key to understanding this challenge. Enhancing tortuosity measurement can improve electrode performance, serving as a crucial parameter for quality assessment, calling for rapid, accurate, and cost-effective methods. Analyzing influencing factors of tortuosity provides a systematic perspective for refining battery design. More in article 2303206, Li Wang, Xiangming He, and co-workers.
