A Novel Benchmarking Approach to Assess Fire Safety of Liquid Electrolytes in Lithium‐Ion Batteries (Adv. Energy Mater. 31/2024)
Lithium-Ion Batteries In article number 2401241, De-Yi Wang and co-workers propose a novel benchmarking approach, self-extinguishing efficiency (SEE), for accessing the fire safety of liquid electrolytes in lithium-ion batteries. The plantain fan represents the SEE, which can extinguish volcanoes representing lithium-ion batteries with potential risk of thermal runaway.
