State Law University named after V.F. Yakovlev, PhD (Law) In this article, the issue of recognition and compulsory enforcement of foreign court orders will be considered based upon the example of the Russian general jurisdiction court practice in relation to foreign court orders. This practice is complicated by the systemic interpretation by the law enforcer of a court order as an act that does not consider the dispute on the merits that makes it impossible to enforce it on the territory of the Russian Federation.
