Recognition of Notarized Powers of Attorney Issued in the FRG by Russian Notaries

The article analyzes the problems of recognition (assessment) of foreign notarial acts by Russian notaries using the example of notarized powers of attorney certified by notaries in Germany. Attention is drawn to the importance of correct application by notaries of the rules of international private law to the form and content of foreign powers of attorney.
