ANÁLISE BI E TRIDIMENSIONAL DE EDIFÍCIO DE CONCRETO ARMADO SOB OS EFEITOS DINÂMICOS DO VENTO

In order to improve the use of space, there is a global tendency to construct higher buildings more and more. In the same proportion that the use of these kinds of construction increases; the need for considering an analysis from the dynamics effects caused by wind’s loading becomes more intense due to the high slenderness, lightness and flexibilities presented. In this sense, the scope of this work is to analyze the wind’s effects dynamically, in both 2D and 3D approaches, of a building made of reinforced concrete. The wind actions are represented by two mathematics models, which utilize temporal functions that simulate the blast by means of consecutive triangular pulses. Such models are: Aguilera’s model (2007) and Viana and Araújo’s model (2009). In order to accomplish this work, a finite element method software was used, SAP2000, 14th version. Due to the results presented by the statics and dynamics analyses, the evaluation of the tridimensional model demonstrates to be indispensable; cause in 3D, the structure has the highest displacements and efforts verified.
