Cover Feature: On the CO2 Harvesting from N2 Using Grazyne Membranes (ChemSusChem 15/2024)
The Cover Feature combines science and entertainment to highlight grazynes, two-dimensional C-based materials with sp and sp2 C atoms aligned along graphene stripes, as suited membranes for CO2/N2 separation. This theoretical study demonstrates that grazynes exhibit a high selectivity for CO2 over N2, enabling the generation of streams of pure gases, making them ideal for combating pollution and addressing climate change.
