Diagnóstico e tratamento de cisto subcondral no boleto de equino
This case study focused on the diagnosis and treatment of a high-performance mare in the bull-catching sport who had a subchondral cyst in the fetlock. The importance of combining these two stages in the recovery of animals affected by this type of injury is highlighted. After radiography confirmed the cyst, triamcinolone and hyaluronic acid were used to infiltrate it, followed by regional infusions with tiludronic acid. This combination of treatments resulted in the horse's recovery, which ceased its lameness and allowed it to return to competitions.
