Holographic method for processing hydroacoustic signals from a high-frequency source in shallow water

The paper presents a method for holographic processing of high-frequency hydroacoustic signals using a vector-scalar receiver in shallow waters. The results of theoretical analysis and numerical modeling are presented. Interferograms and holograms for various components of oscillatory velocity and sound pressure are analyzed. It is shown that noise signals holographic processing using a vector-scalar receiver allows detecting a source and estimating a bearing. The results of the method verification in a numerical experiment are presented.

Abstract

The paper presents a method for holographic processing of high-frequency hydroacoustic signals using a vector-scalar receiver in shallow waters. The results of theoretical analysis and numerical modeling are presented. Interferograms and holograms for various components of oscillatory velocity and sound pressure are analyzed. It is shown that noise signals holographic processing using a vector-scalar receiver allows detecting a source and estimating a bearing. The results of the method verification in a numerical experiment are presented.
