Impact of Inoculative Releases of Trichogramma chilonis for Helicoverpa armigera and Hippodamia variegata for Myzus persicae in Ecologically Engineered Tomato Ecosystem of Kashmir

Field experiments were conducted to determine the impact of inoculative releases of two natural enemies, Trichogramma chilonis and Helicoverpa armigera Myzus persicae Hippodamia variegata for the suppression of , respectively in ecological engineering practiced and tomato field of Kashmir. The application of @150, 000 per ha significantly reduced population (90.0 %) as compared to T. chilonis H. armigera the only ecological engineering practiced field (62.46%).@ 25,000/ha significantly suppressed population with a H. variegata M. persicae reduction of 90.38% as compared to the only ecological engineering practiced field (60.64%).The study indicate that @150, 000/ha T. chilonis and @ 25,000/ha significantly managed the population of and , respectively in ecological engineering H. variegata H. armigera M. persicae practiced tomato field helps in avoidance of pesticidal applications.
