AS CONTRIBUIÇÕES DE ÉMILE DURKHEIM PARA A EDUCAÇÃO: UMA ANÁLISE DOS SEUS PRINCÍPIOS E IMPACTOS

The objective of this article is to reflect on the conceptions and contributions of education for Émile Durkheim, to verify his contributions to the formation of man in society. The study in question focuses on understanding Durkheim's educational ideas in his works considering the determinants of the historical context in which it was produced. For this, a bibliographic research was carried out, of a qualitative nature, which, based on the analysis of the data, will carry out a dialogue with the aspects and principles, in order to answer the research questions. The results obtained demonstrate that Durkheim's conceptions contribute to the understanding of the role of education in society and its importance in the formation and construction of man. The sociologist translates in his writings the educational requirements of his time, which can be considered very current in contemporary education, making thinking and rethinking pedagogical practices identifying the influences from one generation to the next.
