Estimation of the Salivary Copper Levels in Oral Submucous Fibrosis Condition: An In Vivo Study
Trace elements are involved in many different physiological and metabolic processes in humans, either directly or indirectly. Copper is involved in vital biochemical activities like different redox and free radical formation and in maintaining cellular proton homeostasis. It is also associated with the processing of oxygen and a component of arecanut in all forms, which is implicated in the etiology of OSMF. How to cite this article: Gupta R, Jayanti I, Das A, et al.
