Impact of Detrusor Muscle Activity on Short-term Prognosis Following 1470 nm Semiconductor Laser Surgery in Elderly Patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.
Detrusor muscle activity does not exert a significant impact on clinical symptom improvement and quality of life in elderly BPH patients treated with 1470 nm semiconductor laser surgery. However, patients with DU exhibited inferior postoperative recovery in Qmax, underscoring the importance of preoperative urodynamic studies for early intervention and enhanced surgical outcomes in this patient population.
