IOT BASED HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEM
This work focuses on creating a home automation system that utilizes IoT technology. The Primary objective of the system is to simplify the control of household appliances, ensuring safety and intelligent functionality.A mobile application facilitates the remote management of devices such as lights and fans. The application connects to a Firebase real-time database, which helps track each devices status. When a user activates or deactivates an appliance through the application, the database reflects the changes immediately. The connected devices within the home receive these commands and function according to the user preferences. The system allows for both manual and automatic control of appliances.Beyond appliance management, it can monitor the rooms humidity.A humidity sensor is installed in the room to continuously measure the humidity level. This information is transmitted to the Firebase database and updated in real-time on the mobile application.Users can easily check the humidity level and adjust appliances as needed, enhancing overall comfort in varying weather conditions. It can be accessed from anywhere with a reliable internet connection through the mobile app.The implementation of Firebase guarantees real-time data synchronization between the devices and the application. There is further potential expand the system by integrating additional appliances and sensor based on user needs. In summary, this is a straightforward, user-centric, secure, and efficient solution for smart home automation. The work stands to advance modern living by making homes more intelligent and easier to manage.
