A comparison between measured and calculated frost heave, frost penetration and formation of ice lenses

In order to produce reliable prediction of the frost heave, the frost penetration and the location of ice lenses with the program PC-heave its necessarily to have good information about soil strata and parameters influencing the response to freezing. Especially two parameters, permeability and unfrozen water content, are important for the result.
