The immature stages of Pulvinaria tenuivalvata (Newstead) (Hemiptera: Coccidae)

The soft scale Pulvinaria tenuivalvata (Newstead) was discovered in Egypt in 1992 and, within a few years, has become the major pest of sugarcane, especially in Upper Egypt.
