Educação para os media nas aulas de artes : criação intertextual de memes como meio de empoderamento visual para a conscientização ambiental

This paper discusses what are the relevant and urgent social media skills for a visual culture education curriculum. In order to answer this, a theoretical-practical methodology is applied. Starting with the theoretical framework of the Visual Education program, and finishing with a practical pedagogical action intended to be implemented among sixth grade students at Pedro Arrupe school in Lisbon.
