Electric-power recovery for the mechanical damper in a vehicle-suspension system using artificial intelligent control

The suspension elements must be mounted between the vehicle body and wheel axle to minimize undesirable shake for passengers. Parts of mechanical shake energy are transferred to heat energy by such mechanical damper elements in the vehicle-suspension system. So, the new part of this paper is how to utilize or recover this dissipated energy as electrical energy instead of heat energy. So, a new suggested suspension system will be introduced. In this proposed technique, an electric linear generator is used- as an electrical damper- in parallel to the spring instead of the mechanical damper element to recover this dissipated power. This generator is exposed to dynamic forces as equal as to the mechanical damper through the minimized shake. Dependency, the generator transfers undesirable randomly mechanical shake energy in the suspension systems to electric power instead of heat energy due to friction. But, the main problem here is the randomization of such generated power. So, this paper offers an electronic intelligent power card to get the generated electric power in the useful form in different vehicle electrical circuits.
